IZYAN HANIS BINTI MOHAMAD ZAWAWI (KIA160107)

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! I hope everyone is in a good health. Our project has come to an end so today I am about to write my last inner thoughts about the project. Before I start, I want to thank Dr. Majid Mirzaei, the instructor of this course who guided us to complete this project smoothly.  First thing first, I would like to expose what did I learnt in taking this course generally. Social engagement course is a vital subject I guess for university students to take. This is because students can get many things especially, they can increase their level of confident. Based on my experience, I saw many changes in myself for example my confident levels gained. I became more talkative and being more open-minded in giving and exchanging opinions with my group members. Moreover, I learnt how to write blog posting very well which I seldom writing a blog before. It is a good decision to ask students to write ongoing reflections using the blog.  Besides, I learnt how...

ABDULLAH BIN ZAHARI (KIA160002)

Assalamualaikum and greetings everyone. My name is Abdullah Zahari and this is my final reflection. Social engagement according to wikipedia is a social involvement or social participation that refers to one's degree of participation in a community or social. In the nutshell, it is a subject where we have to engage with the community and provide service for them. Throughout this program, a person can develop their skill through the interaction and communication with other people other than their peers. Based on my observation i found two aspects that create a tremendous effect to my personal experience. (i) Personal and Professional Development Personally, I have gained something new from the activities that we were conducted throughout the program.   Conducting a program is somehow something new to me moreover involving interaction with other organization. It is important for me to be always in high spirit to increase my motivation and radiates the positive energy to oth...

ASHRAF (KIA160702)

Assalamualaikum  and greetings to everyone.   Today I will be sharing my final reflection on this project. I will start by sharing why I believe social engagement  is important. Then I will elaborate on the important impacts of this project on me and what are the important things that I learned through this experience. Social Engagement is a very critical course that has a significant importance towards us students. Nowadays technology is increasingly being used in our daily life. Hence, as the technology develops more, people tends to lose face to face communication. People stopped to have eye contacts with each other. According to Huffpost.com some mothers stated that they have lost eye to eye communication with their children due to increase use of tablets, computers and phones. Because of this, the youth are struggling when it comes to interacting with the real world and prefer virtual communication.   Our social engagement course is meant to break thi...

ABDUL HALIM BIN NAGOR MOHAMED (KIA160001)

Assalamualaikum and greetings everyone. Hi, My name is Abdul Halim bin Nagor Mohamed and my matric number is KIA160001 is a proud member of Civangers. I didn't know it would be full of fun at the beginning because I thought it would be darn boring. The reason behind this feeling is my dearest Civangers. They're very helpful, cheerful, wonderful, fantastic, you name it. So, I would like to take this opportunity to show my highest gratitude towards them because there's this phrase saying that "A friend in need is a friend indeed". The bond between us is as thick as thieves. I'm glad that it worked out for us because not everyone has that privilege.  I'm so happy about the fact that I was given this chance to work with my team to help the Toy Library in Damai Apartment. The people there were very nice and warm to us. They welcomed us with open arms. They didn't treat us as strangers but what they did was they treated us like we are their family...

RAIDATUL NABILAH BINTI EMIR HAMZAH (KIA160117)

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! In my posting today I would like to share about my final thoughts on this project. Based on the overall project, I have learned a lot of things especially in improving my personal and professional development. I learned to be more confident while communicating and dealing with such big organization. The more confident you are, the more you trust yourself. This also helps me to develop a higher self-esteem. To be confident, I need to have a positive thinking. I need to cut all the negativity around me. By talking to the parents of the kids also help me to improve my confidence level. During this project, I improved my discipline by being punctual whether for submission or other stuff. Discipline can be improved by setting a clear goal that need to achieve at the end of the project. I am able to concentrate on completing work.  I learned that all the weakness that I have can be improved for example I am not a patient pers...
