Assalamualaikum and greetings everyone. My name is Abdullah Zahari and this is my final reflection. Social engagement according to wikipedia is a social involvement or social participation that refers to one's degree of participation in a community or social. In the nutshell, it is a subject where we have to engage with the community and provide service for them. Throughout this program, a person can develop their skill through the interaction and communication with other people other than their peers. Based on my observation i found two aspects that create a tremendous effect to my personal experience.
(i) Personal and
Professional Development
Personally, I have gained something new from the activities that we were conducted throughout the program. Conducting a program is somehow something new to me moreover involving interaction with other organization. It is important for me to be always in high spirit to increase my motivation and radiates the positive energy to other people. In term of my strength, I do not mind doing extra work as long as it is beneficial to me and worthy to try. Throughout the process, I have improved my communication and interaction skill to different age of people. I found that It is good to have a great adaptability when working with new condition and with new people. In the future, I want to be always in high motivation and constantly improve my skills.

I came to learn that people has different colours of personality depending on their surrounding and education. Within our program, we helped the children to improve their communication skill with other people. Based on my observation, the children mostly can organize themselves as they can organize the toy’s library house and have a sense of responsibility at young age. They do not mind sharing their idea on how to improve the toy’s library or to gain some money for the carnival day. Our job is to help them to generate more idea and present the idea to the people. What I learnt from the community, the children have a good quality amount of time that should be filled with something that more enjoyable, healthy and can improve their skills.
