Assalammualaikum and a very good day to all of you who are reading this! I am back with another posting for today which is my final thoughts on this project. First and foremost, i wish all of you a great day and healthy life. The Civangers UM activities have come to an end, and i am both happy to be given a chance to work in this project and sad that it is the end of this project. However, this project has left me with tons of unforgettable memories and lessons learned. There were a lot of moments shared throughout this entire project. All are great memories for me, all the laughter, hardship, and not to forget all the jokes we made. All will be remembered by each and every one of us.
I would first like to thank the people who have made this project a success which are Datin P.H. Wong, Puan Jameyah, Puan Khadijah, Go Green Rangers, Dr Majid and the entire team members of THE CIVANGERS UM. This project would not have been a great success without the help and effort that has been put out by this people. I have discovered a lot about myself that I never thought I would in a single course. This shows how this course has really impacted me. Okay let me start with my weakness first. I have discovered that I have poor time management skills. This course requires me to do a lot of work and most of it at the same time especially as Vice President of this team, I am required to work a bit more as I need to deal with a lot of issues in order for this project to be a success.
Fortunately, I was paired with a great President and supportive team members who have helped me a lot throughout this process and gave me endless effort. I am grateful to them that with their support, I manage to work on my time management skills and improved myself. On the other side, I have also discovered and improved my strengths through this project which are my communication skills and leadership skill. In this project, I was given the responsibility to co-lead the team together with Amir which is the president of Civangers UM. I was given the experience to communicate personally with Datin P.H. Wong who is the founder of the toy library at Apartment Idaman regarding the issues or process of this project. This helps me to build up my confidence and improved my communication skills.
Other than that, I managed to improve my communication skills by socializing with the community and getting to know people from different background especially the children there. They were very accepting of us which makes the communication a lot easier. From this project, I am able to prove myself in terms of leadership too. In my point of view, I managed to help my team in solving the issues that we faced. This project is an eye opening experience for me because we worked with a community that does not have the same benefits that we had growing up. There, I got to observe and learned a lot about their life and to be grateful of what I have in my life.
Before this project started, we met with some of the kids from that neighborhood, to be honest my first impressions of them was not very good. However, after I have been with them for this 5 activities I have learned that those impressions I have about them were really wrong and I actually enjoyed being with them and I would truly go back for more future project with them. I think that this course has taught me so much from this experience itself. This learning can be so helpful for us to improved and discover ourselves. Furthermore, I think that this kind of learning can help open the eyes of our society to be more loving and less judgmental towards other people. I hope to become more passionate and more active in helping the society to become better in the future. I also hope to be given more of this kind of experience in the future so that I can improve myself alongside giving back to the society.

We have worked with Association of Toy Library Malaysia and Datin P.H.Wong personally to help children from underprivileged background to have access to toys. From this experience that was given to us, I think that our work has truly impacted the society in terms of bringing a new hope. Why? This is because we, along with Toy Library want to prove that despite the infamous saying that toys and games can corrupt a child’s mind it can actually work the other way around. In fact, it can help enhance the creativity of the children as their grow up. Throughout this project, I have observed the lifestyle of the children there and in my opinion, Toy Library have made a great effort in trying to improve the lifestyle of the children. We, Civangers UM are very grateful to have been given this experience to be a part of this amazing move.
In that community, I learned that the kids there rarely got a place to play and express their creativity due to limited play area and small household. Therefore, by providing them a special place for them to have access to toys can really improve their lifestyle and their way of thinking. To summarize everything, I would like to say that this is one of the most unforgettable memories that I will cherish forever to be able to serve the community and to be able to work alongside with such WONDERFUL team members for a good cost. Moreover, this experience has brought my team members and I closer and strengthen our friendship. Together, we, THE CIVANGER UM are stronger and INVINCIBLE . To be honest, deep in my heart i can say and assure you that there won't be anyone else that i would team up with other than them because we are family now.
