Our project run for four days and take place at three different locations. Our first location is at Apartment Idaman where the toy’s library house located. Apartment Idaman also will be the place where our main event held for the carnival day. Our second location is at Lin Lin kindergarten where we go cleaning the kindergarten and have some talk sessions with Mr Hor about his creation. And the last location is at Jaya One Mall where we help collecting toys from people who wants to donate.

On 30 March 2019, we went to the Apartment Idaman to meet Puan Jameyah, one of the person in charge of toy’s library and together with the kids. Our main agenda is to help them by giving idea for the Toy’s Library Carnival Day in term of the activity and their funding. After that, we had site visit to the toy’s library together with the kids. We were cleaning the compound and the area around the toy’s library.

On 31 March 2019, we visited the Lin Lin kindergarten to meet Mr Hor and his companion. Mr Hor is a freelancer inventor. He invents many sculpture based on recycled materials. We had a good and nice conversation with him about his ideas and his inventions. After that we were cleaning the kindergarten’s compound and set up the place for kids’ enrolment.

13 April 2019 (Toy’s Library Carnival Day)
Our main programme was held on Saturday, 13th April 2019 at Apartment Idaman, Damansara Damai. Early morning at 8.00 a.m., we arrived at Apartment Idaman and had some preparation before the event begin. After we finished with the preparation, we were waiting for the children and their parents to gather near the toy’s library to start our first activity and gives some brief about the programme. We starting the programme with aerobics and radio calisthenics exercises for 30 to 45 minutes. Aerobics and radio calisthenics were led by our team members with intense amount of training beforehand.
Our first activity was cooking, where we taught them how to make boiled egg sandwiches and fruit salads. After that we demonstrated to them how to make creative arts which are origamis and rattan butterflies. After the carnival ended, we went to Jaya Mall to help Datin PH Wong collecting the toys from the people who wants to donate it.

On 14 March 2019 we went to Lin Lin kindergarten again to talk more about invention with Mr Hor and had some mind games with Mr Tan. Mr Hor taught us how to toys by using wire. And at end of the session, we had some feedback and summary from Datin PH Wong.
