AMIR ZULFITRI BIN DZIYAULARZAK (KIA160103)

Assalammualaikum and Hi guys! how u all doing? I hope you guys are in good health. It is said to say that our activity with Toy Library is come to end. A lot of memories we share together. Not only that, but we also exchange our idea among each other and share our experience during the activities. Although, there are difficulties that we are facing together but Alhamdullilah the project has been running smoothly. I would like to give credit to Puan Jameyah and Datin PH Wong who has helped us and trust us to do an activity with them. I have learned a lot of things with them particularly in the volunteer programme. They have joined so many volunteer programme and has contributed to a volunteer programme for many years.

I have learned a lot during the activities that we are doing at the Toy Library. The first thing is leadership. Since I am the president of the Civangers, I have to deal with many parties. I have to make an agreement between lecturer and Toy Library. Furthermore, I have to solve the problem that we are facing and make sure the programme is run smoothly with the help of my team member. I strengths during the activities determined and patient. Although we have facing so many obstacles such as we must reschedule our problem due to the unwanted event, I am confident that we still can achieve our objective goals. As a normal human being, I also have a weakness that I have to improve from time to time. the weakness that I found in myself is a lack of communication. As a leader, I must be a good communicator to deliver my idea and to make a command. The good thing is I have learned how to communicate well in this project.

This project or this course (Social engagement) have made an impact on my way of work. I learned that the discussion that I have made must be fast and accurate because it will affect the progress of the activity. The work also must be done on time and cannot be delayed because it will affect other things such as money. Before this, I do a lot of bad assumptions to the community that facing a financial problem and unable to provide their children need. After I have seen with my own eyes and do some observation, actually they have done their best to provide the need of their children. However, with underpaid salary and busy with their work, they unable to focus on their children. We as a community should help them and not give a bad perspective on them.

As a conclusion, I would like to give a big thanks to my team member who have given their cooperation and helped me to make sure the project can be done successfully. I hope this course can continue because give a lot of knowledge and experienced that you cannot get in the campus. So I, Amir Zulfitri will be signing off as a Civangers team! :-)))

We decided to do the social engagement course with toy’s library association where it was a new kind of volunteerism for me. Many things that I’ve learned while doing the social engagement where it involves with the community of Apartment Idaman, Datin PH Wong, Puan Jamila, Mr Hor and Mr Tan.   The first day of social engagement, where we decided to meet Auntie J and the rangers team (active members of toy libraries) to discuss on what are the activities that help to encourage kids to come to toy libraries. We split into few groups that mix of kids from apartment Idaman and member of civangers where each group are assign different task. RAIDATUL NABILAH BINTI EMIR HAMZAH (KIA160117)

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone! In my posting today I would like to share about my final thoughts on this project. Based on the overall project, I have learned a lot of things especially in improving my personal and professional development. I learned to be more confident while communicating and dealing with such big organization. The more confident you are, the more you trust yourself. This also helps me to develop a higher self-esteem. To be confident, I need to have a positive thinking. I need to cut all the negativity around me. By talking to the parents of the kids also help me to improve my confidence level. During this project, I improved my discipline by being punctual whether for submission or other stuff. Discipline can be improved by setting a clear goal that need to achieve at the end of the project. I am able to concentrate on completing work.  I learned that all the weakness that I have can be improved for example I am not a patient pers...
